Dolmens d’Arlait

From the end of the Lower Palaeolithic, the plateaus between Clain and Clouère were traversed by man. In the Neolithic period, with the appearance of agriculture, he settled there definitively.

The dolmens of Arlait are the remains of prehistoric stone tombs. Built around 4500 BC, they were reused around 2500 BC.

These 3 monuments arranged in a triangle are about thirty meters apart from each other.
Nearby: remains of Château-Larcher castle and the lantern of the dead.
