Musée La Vienne dans la Seconde Guerre Mondiale

The Museum is entirely dedicated to the history of the Vienne in the Second World War and welcomes you in its 140m²: reconstituted scenes: demarcation line, SAS parachuting, parachuting container of weapons for the maquis, as well as other archives... 26 showcases presenting numerous objects or models.

Different themes are covered on 65 thematic panels with texts, testimonies and presentation of photos and documents: entry into the war, the demarcation line, daily life under the Occupation, prisoners of war, internment, deportation, the Chantiers de la Jeunesse, STO, SAS, the Resistance and the maquis, passive defense, air warfare...

More than 300 objects or documents are to be discovered: weapons, gas masks, uniforms, everyday objects, parachutes and scenographies on the demarcation line, parachute drops of weapons
