Blossac Walks - Lusignan

The Blossac walk takes you around the grounds of the château. Count Blossac, administrator of Poitou, had formal gardens laid there in 1774 (600 young elms and arbours were planted at this time). The site stretches to a rocky hill overlooking the Vonne River where you can see the forest that served as the old hunting grounds of Lusignan nobility.
Don't miss : the historical town of Lusignan. Nearby : the stained glass museum at Curzay-sur-Vonne and the Gallo-Roman site at Sanxay.
