Claude Pacaud was a latecomer to painting. In 1970 he discovered the charms of Provence and the impressive Sainte-Victoire Mountain overlooking Aix-en-Provence. Since then, he has travelled all over Provence capturing the magic, colours and flavours of the area. His art is embedded with the scents of thyme, rosemary and lavender. Claude Pacaud is passionate about poppies, which he views as a captivating artistic subject.. Using with the colour red in all its different hues, his paintings can be described as being somewhere between Realist, Abstract, Modern, and Contemporary with just a touch of Fauvism. Discover these joyful paintings, all touched by sunlight and happiness and meet this self-made artist. Be sure not to miss his travelling exhibitions when they come to a place near you.
