Manufacture and assembly, with handles and plates made of fossil bone, zebu, antelope, goat, ram or cow horn, mammoth ivory (inset semi-precious stones: malachite, turquoise). Wood: olive, burr ash and elm, juniper, snakewood, sorb, heather, arbutus, etc.
