A small corner of greenery in Poitiers!

The garden of the senses, property of the city of Poitiers, is a place of exchange and discovery allowing to approach the environment through the garden. This 7000 m² garden, created by Gilles Clément, invites visitors to awaken their 5 senses. It is freely accessible or run by the CPIE Seuil du Poitou.

It is suitable for people with reduced mobility thanks to easy access for wheelchairs as well as visits adapted to all forms of disability (on request). Along their route, visitors can stroll around the pond, the flowery meadow or even under the alley of shadows, to delight their senses. Activities for schoolchildren, specialized centres, leisure centres. And also, themed visit for the general public, shows for all ages, parent-child workshop: ask for the program from the CPIE.
