The Spring of Poets
From 8 to 20 March
Organised by Les Mots Dits, this 11th edition of the Printemps des poètes de Chauvigny will focus on the theme of freedom.
Wine and Honey Fair
March 14 and 15
Wine, gastronomy, and honey will be featured in Jaunay-Marigny for its 60th edition! More than 200 exhibitors will be present at the town's sports complex. Food and entertainment will be available on site.
“When We Tell Stories” Festival
From 6 to 25 March
Two weeks of performances will take place at La Passerelle in Nouaillé-Maupertuis during the 28th edition of the festival. Tales, legends, and mythology will be featured! The program will be primarily regional!

Tèrra Ephemeral Adventure in Angles-sur-l'Anglin

Attention culture, heritage and adventure lovers: a new exclusive route is coming to one of the “Most Beautiful Villages of France”!
Du April 5 to May 31, 2026, Tèrra Aventura and the character Zeroik offer you a unique immersive experience.
The objective? To explore two major sites in the department of Vienne through a single, unified path:

Every year, during the first weekend of May, Saint-Benoît celebrates the arrival of spring and, for two days, transforms into the regional capital of plants. With over 150,000 plants and flowers on display across nearly 30,000 m², some sixty specialist producers, and a rich and varied program of activities, May Flowers transforms the city centre into a vast open-air garden, vibrant with colours, scents and botanical discoveries.

Head to the CPA Lathus to rediscover the festivals of yesteryear and their popular spirit! Music lovers, nature enthusiasts, activity fans… there will be something for everyone thanks to unusual entertainment, artistic performances, and numerous concerts! The program is coming soon!
The Poitiers Fair
May 20 to 25.
The Poitiers Fair returns for six days of fun, great deals, and discoveries. Nearly 200 exhibitors and a multitude of free activities will liven up this new edition! This year, the focus is on nostalgia with the theme "Our Retro Years." A 60s village will immerse you in the vintage atmosphere, with plenty of treasures to find!
500 Ferraris against cancer
May 28 to 31.
The 32nd edition of this unique gathering of legendary cars illustrates the passion and solidarity surrounding an important cause: the fight against cancer. The 2025 edition had already mobilized 50,000 spectators and raised over €7,3 million for the University Hospital of Poitiers!

For its second edition, the medieval festival of La Mothe-Chandeniers will offer epic battles, passionate artisans, period costumes and immersive entertainment.

Step back in time to the Middle Ages, a world of traditions, craftsmanship, and chivalry. On the agenda: a vast medieval market showcasing local produce and artistic crafts, in an atmosphere reminiscent of the grand fairs of yesteryear. Visitors can chat with passionate artisans and discover numerous demonstrations of their skills: calligraphy, archery, coin minting, embroidery, wool spinning, woodturning, stone carving, cutlery making, and leatherwork.

The Poitiers Urban Trail has established itself as a must-do event to add to your running calendar in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. At the heart of the VienneA 10km route invites you to explore Poitiers in a new light, passing through its narrow streets, hidden treasures, and iconic landmarks. A great opportunity to (re)discover the city of a hundred bell towers through a dynamic and surprising Urban Trail, promising a sporting experience that is both friendly and memorable!
European Heritage Days

The 43rd edition of the European Heritage Days is back! In 2025, there were 18,500 places to visit for free, 29,000 events organized, and 7.4 million visits throughout France! The program will be announced soon!
