Gîte les Cagouillères
On this charming 2.7-hectare estate dating from before 1830, with an orchard and two lakes, you'll enjoy a completely different holiday experience. It's the ideal setting for a relaxing stay close to nature based on an unusual eco-responsible concept.
Here you can get back to basics and return to nature in your cosy little nest inside an authentic traditional horse-drawn gypsy caravan hand-built by a French craftsman. Well insulated and featuring a gas heater, the caravan is available all year round. It is fully autonomous, being powered by solar panels and supplied by water storage tanks along the same lines as a motorhome.
Sleeping up to 4 guests, the caravan has a double alcove bed and a pull-out bed that can be made up as a small double. The bathroom has a shower, small washbasin and composting toilet. The kitchen area has a refrigerator and hob with 2 gas rings perfect for heating ready meals and basic cooking. The caravan has a 140-litre water tank.
Next to the caravan there is a private area with garden furniture and barbecue, plus access to a recycling-friendly wooded area and flower garden.
