Tèrra Aventura, the free treasure hunt, accessible to all!
Nouaillé Mauperthuis is famous for the battle of 1356 during which King Jean le Bon was taken prisoner by the Prince of Wales.
Every year in the spring, the village organizes a reenactment of this battle with a night show, as well as a medieval day which ends with a tournament of chivalry.
During your walk with Zarthus, you can admire the magnificent 7th century Romanesque and Classical abbey, the remains of the fortifications and the medieval-inspired gardens.
