The pond is located in the center of the town of this pleasant village with its pretty little stone bridge from the Middle Ages which spans the Bouleure.
FISHING REGULATIONS ON THE VAUX-EN-COUHE BODY OF WATER
The Vaux-en-Couhé body of water (managed by the AAPPMA le Gardon de Couhé) is classified as "Open waters" and therefore the fishing regulations are the same as those applied in 2nd category rivers, namely: Mandatory fishing license.
- For opening periods, specific closures (pike, zander, etc.), minimum size of fish, refer to the prefectural decree for the year.
- Authorized fishing methods: 3 lines per fisherman.
- Trout releases: 1 single rod per fisherman.
- Specific prohibitions: fishing with spoons and lures, bottom lines, crayfish scales, fishing from a boat, float tube or any other means, night carp fishing.
