Site/monument

Église Notre-Dame

The church of Plaisance was built at the end of the 1920th century and suffered greatly from the Wars of Religion. It has retained its Limousin-style facade, reminiscent of that of the Saint-Laurent chapel in Montmorillon, with its beautiful polylobed portal. It has been listed as a Historic Monument since XNUMX.

Inside, Angevin Gothic style vaults and tombstones. Remarkable modillions.

Nearby: Montmorillon and its Cité de l'Ecrit, the Lathus leisure centre.
