La Poste aux Chevaux
La Poste aux Chevaux, classified as a "Historic Monument" since 1994, forms a vast quadrilateral around a courtyard centered by a paved footbath of exceptional dimensions.
Guided tour of the courtyard where the owner presents all the buildings and the history and operation of this Poste aux Chevaux.
Visit of the old carousel where the exhibition is held in collaboration with the Paris Postal Museum on the history and general operation of the Relais de Poste and on the history of the Relais de Poste des Ormes. Presentation of authentic objects linked to the Relais de Poste.
In the gardens and around the courtyard, permanent exhibition of sculptures in stone and wood by René Coutelle accompanied by various other exhibitions.
In the carousel, 2 exhibitions:
- one on post offices in general
- one on the Poste des Ormes relay with authentic objects.
