Exhibition

Aux origines de l’Arménie préchrétienne : du Kouro-Araxe à l’Ourartou

Back

An exhibition presented by the Museum of Prehistory of Lussac-les-Châteaux and the Archaeological Museum of Shirak (Armenia)

At the initiative of the Shirak Regional Museum in Gyumri, Armenia, the French public is invited to discover the little-known cultures of the Bronze Age and Iron Age in the Caucasus, which flourished in what is now Armenia between the 3rd and 1st millennia BCE. For the first time since 2007, these collections are leaving Armenia to be exhibited in France, including several previously unseen items from current archaeological excavations.
