Calligraphy is the art of tracing beautiful letters by hand, a bit like the copyist monks of yesteryear! A whole program, which the Artelier de la Gartempe invites you to try, encouraged by Sylvie, a colorful artist.
- Step 1: we observe the technique and we say wow.
- Step 2: grab aprons, feathers and brushes to get started.
- Step 3: we tickle daddy when he is too focused
And there's always a lovely creation to take home, something to be proud of. More than just a creative workshop, ARTelier de la Gartempe offers a wonderful moment of sharing between budding doodlers and seasoned artists. Two hands, four hands, six hands: the more hands, the merrier!
