Château d’Abin

The Seigniory of Abin (MH), fiefdom with right of high justice, came under the duchy of Châtellerault and depended on the abbey of Fontevrault.

The entrance by the bridge standing on moats in water, framed by 2 châtelets of the XVIIth century gives access to the castle of the XVth and XVIIth centuries whose main body in "L" has 2 medieval towers.

Between these two towers, a bridge by Mr. Gustave Eiffel spans the moat.
