Site de la Maison-Dieu

This monastery-hospital founded in the XNUMXth century by Robert the Pious, on his return from a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, houses the chapel of Saint-Laurent (XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries) which has a harmonious octagonal bell tower with a high spire, Romanesque sculptures on the façade and XNUMXth century murals inside.

In the courtyard stands a curious Octagon (XNUMXth century) which is a mysterious funeral chapel with two floors and a XNUMXth century boiler room.
