Site/monument

La Tuillerie du Gué de l’Omme

Imagine a place where, for generations, clay was transformed into tiles under the effect of heat.

The Gué de l'Omme tile factory, a true witness to our industrial past, ceased its activity in 1955 and then remained abandoned for several years.
Today, thanks to the passion of volunteers, this iconic site is coming back to life. The kiln, the beating heart of the tile factory, is undergoing complete restoration.
