In the heart of the village of Curçay-sur-Dive, at the very foot of the keep, lies the Treilles de la Reine Blanche conservatory, a unique collection of ancient grape varieties. Ideally located, in the land of wines of the AOP Saumur Nord appellation Vienne, the plot benefits from sunshine conducive to the vines.
No less than 500 vines from 50 different wine varieties have been identified and certified.
Whether you are a wine lover or simply curious, you can discover the history, origin and characteristics of each grape variety through an educational trail and explanatory panels. The most gourmands will be delighted to find cooking recipes based on grapes.
