Les Orangeries

Located in the heart of Lussac-les-Châteaux, 35 km from Poitiers and 80 km from Limoges, Les Orangeries is a charming hotel housed in an 18th-century building, renovated in 2026 by its architect owner. The first hotel in France to be certified with the European Ecolabel, the establishment is reinventing itself as a laboratory for regenerative hospitality, just 2 hours from Paris by train.

Fifteen individually decorated rooms featuring fine materials, lounges with fireplaces, a bioclimatic patio, and a shaded terrace create an environment conducive to reconnecting with nature. The Maître Restaurateur restaurant offers plant-based, organic, and locally sourced cuisine. A 35-meter swimming pool (May-September), gardens, and traditional games complete the amenities. Certified as a "Bike Friendly" hotel, it provides secure bike storage, a repair workshop, electric bike charging, and access to cycling routes. Fast EV charging stations are available in the parking lot.

How to come by public transport: Located in the immediate vicinity of the Lussac-les-Châteaux TER train station, accessible on foot. Lussac-les-Châteaux stop on the Poitiers-Limoges line (TGV station in Poitiers). Electric bikes are available for rent at the station and at the hotel.
