Entre Brandes et Plaines
The "Entre brades et plaines" hiking trail takes its name from the territories it crosses, it offers two completely different landscapes: one closed (the brandes) and the other open (the plains).
This circuit will allow you to admire the diversity of landscapes offered by the towns crossed. Starting from Champagné Saint Hilaire, you cross part of the heather, clayey and humid lands composed of small plots surrounded by hedges or heather (variety of large heather easily recognizable in spring by its yellow color) and interspersed with numerous groves, these plots are particularly dedicated to breeding (cattle, sheep and horses).
At the end of the route, you will find the Champagné Saint Hilaire wetland in the wooded area of Trois Fontaines, with the communal bodies of water (6 and 2 hectares).
