The “Serinettes and chestnut trees” circuit owes its name to two plants representative of the two communes of Linazay and Champagné-Le-Sec. Serinettes are the name for small star thistles which grew on the poor lands of Linazay and chestnut trees are present in abundance in the woods of Champagné-Le-Sec.
