GRP® Nouaillé Maupertuis

Back

Departure: from Poitiers, at 62, route de Bignoux.

Very pleasant wooded route, along the Miosson and Clain valleys where the architectural and historical heritage is omnipresent. It was in Nouaillé-Maupertuis that the King of France Jean le Bon was taken prisoner in 1356. You will have the pleasure of discovering the abbey complex of Nouaillé - Maupertuis, the Benedictine abbey of Ligugé and that of Saint-Benoît, and of course Poitiers, City of Art and History.
