Scandibérique – Dangé-Saint-Romain – Availles-Limouzine

Back

Linking Trondheim in Norway to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, EuroVélo3 is a 5 km European cycle route. In France, the EuroVélo122 is called Scandibérique and represents, with 3 km, the longest cycle route in the country.
The Scandibérique travels through the department of Vienne over a little over 115 km. It crosses 21 communes, from Dangé-Saint-Romain to Availles Limouzine along the valley of the Vienne.
Roll around the edges of the Vienne, cross the river by the magnificent Henri IV bridge in Châtellerault, or discover the exceptional panorama of the medieval city of Chauvigny.
A marked cycling route punctuated with favorite stages: the masterful viaduct at L'Isle Jourdain, the Château de Touffou in Bonnes, the Merovingian necropolis in Civaux… or more fun with Le Grand Atelier in Châtellerault, Les Géants du Ciel in Chauvigny, Land of Dragons in Civaux.
