The 43rd edition of the European Heritage Days will be held on September 18, 19 and 20, 2026, on the themes "Heritage of Photography", on the occasion of the Bicentenary of Photography, and "Heritage in Peril: Reviving, Resisting, Reimagining", a heritage to be safeguarded in a changing world facing challenges such as increasing digitization, the acceleration of population movements, the climate crisis and conflicts of all kinds.
