The Ecomuseum, a rural life interpretation centre, awaits you on the Juillé site in Saulgé (5 minutes from Montmorillon). Visit the Ecomuseum and discover the history of this area. Cultural tour in 10 themed rooms (housing, landscapes, crafts, etc.). Loan of digital tablets as a visitor aid, game booklet, films, models, shop and activities, Orchard. On site: 3km walking trail with interpretation panels. Picnic table. Family investigations "A Nightingale has been stolen" expériences famille by the department.

A fun visit to discover the Ecomuseum. Find the Rossignol board that was stolen during the night. Can you find the culprit? (entrance fee + game board = €7.50 per person, played in teams of 2 to 4 people).

Full adult admission: €6 per person. Reduced admission: €5 (youth and groups of 15 or more). Guided tours available: add guide fee starting from €100 per group.

Opening

Open during the April school holidays on April 8-9-10; 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24 and 29 and 30, 2026. Open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons from 2pm to 5:30pm.
Mid-season: from May 27th to June 28th and from September 23rd to October 11th: open Wednesdays and Sunday afternoons from 14 pm to 17:30 pm
High season: from July 1st to August 30th: open Wednesday to Sunday morning from 9am to 13pm
From September 1st to September 20th: open Wednesday to Sunday from 14pm to 17:30pm
