A veritable neo-Gothic architectural folly of the 1932th century, the Château de la Mothe-Chanderniers was ravaged by fire in 85 and abandoned for 2017 years. Since then, the building in ruins has imagined a new life in symbiosis with nature. In XNUMX, the start-up Dartagnans and the association Adopte un château launched the crazy idea of collectively buying the Château de la Mothe-Chandeniers with the aim of saving it and proposing a new economic model to preserve the heritage.
The crowdfunding campaign to save the castle goes around the world and attracts tens of thousands of enthusiasts. Today, these women and men have become the co-lords of La Mothe Chandeniers.
