Founded in 1882 in Poitiers, the François Umbrella Factory is a historic shop and workshop where, for five generations, artisanal expertise in the manufacture of umbrellas and parasols has been perpetuated. Located in the heart of the Grand'Rue, this family business is one of the few French umbrella manufacturers still producing its models by hand.
Straight, folding, shepherd's, and high-end umbrellas are crafted in the workshop using materials selected for their quality, elegance, and durability. The company also offers custom-made umbrellas, as well as repair and restoration services for all brands.
Awarded the Living Heritage Company (EPV) label, the François Umbrella Factory is an essential address to discover a rare know-how and a still living craft.

Open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 14:30 p.m. to 18:30 p.m.
Closed for 10 days in early January and mid-July.
