On July 13, the men's Tour de France will pass through Châtellerault and La Roche-Posay. On the women's side, Poitiers will host the finish of the 4th stage on July 29, followed by a start from Futuroscope on July 30. Put on your polka-dot helmet and get ready! Whether you're passionate about cycling or just curious, this is the chance to experience a "wow" moment right on your doorstep!
The men's Tour de France crosses the Vienne
A notable visit to Châtellerault!
During the 9th stage of the Tour de France, the men's peloton will pass through Châtellerault! And it's not every day that you get to admire the cycling champions! So, it's up to you! Choose the best spot so you don't miss anything of this whirlwind passage! Once Châtellerault is in the rearview mirror, the riders will head straight for La Roche-Posay, a spa and medieval town. They will notably pass under the Bourbon Gate, the town's emblem. A highlight of this 9th stage! Of course, when you say Tour de France, you say caravan! Be in the front row and put on your best smile to collect as many gifts as possible.
100% cycling atmosphere
Châtellerault will be celebrating this July 13th with entertainment from 12 p.m. until the early hours! Entertainment, games, and a good mood will be on hand to celebrate this event. Whether you're a cycling fan or simply a fan of a festive atmosphere, get ready for a day full of surprises!

Two stages for the women's Tour de France!
The 2025 Tour de France Femme, which will take place from July 26 to August 3, promises two great stages in the Vienne :
- Stage 4: from Saumur to Poitiers (128 km) – Tuesday, July 29.
- Stage 5: Chasseneuil-du-Poitou (Futuroscope) in Guéret (166 km) – Wednesday July 30.
Poitiers and its surrounding areas are getting ready and thinking big with a program of events and festivities planned for the days leading up to the stages!
A celebration of cycling in Poitiers
For this women's Tour de France, Poitiers et Greater Poitiers have planned many events starting with July 29:
- Sports initiations for all ages
- BMX demonstrations
- A rhythmic fanfare to get you in the mood all afternoon
- Activities and workshops for the whole family
- A family show after the runners' arrival
- And on-site catering to recharge your batteries!
At the heart of the Women's Tour!
Find all these activities at the Roseraie grounds, a stone's throw from the Poitiers Exhibition Center. Admission is free and will be from 14 p.m. to 19 p.m.
But be careful! Don't miss:
- The caravan passes at 16:30 p.m.
- The arrival of the runners between 17 p.m. and 17:30 p.m.
- The official ceremony and awards ceremony will take place around 17:45 p.m.
The next day join the fan zone from 10 a.m. in the parking lot of theArena FuturoscopeEnjoy entertainment, games, and shows before the caravan leaves at 11 a.m. and the runners set off at 13 p.m.!
