The Golf du Haut-Poitou, a technical course with a view
Its course, very hilly from 18 holes of international standard, offers a diversity of landscapes between wooded hillsides and lakesides, with sublime views of the superb stretch of water of the Domaine du Lac de Saint-Cyr.
Au Golf Haut Poitou, everyone finds here, whatever their level, “ course to his swing ". Indeed, besides the 18 holes, golf hasan 9 hole (Par* 3 and 4) which is suitable for both discovery and training as well as a pitch and put course. The lunch break in the restaurant La Golf table with a view of the lake from its panoramic terrace, also contributes to its notoriety.
Golf of Poitiers-Châlons, in complete relaxation
Founded in 1960, by the American army which had a military base nearby, this golf course located close to the historic center of Poitiers became in 1994 university golf.
Since 2014, the renamed structure Poitiers-Châlons golf course has made a new start by opening up to as many people as possible but always keeping this vocation of learning for beginners as well as for experienced players.
A veritable green lung in the city, for its friendly and family approach but also for its prices, it offers a pleasant 9-hole course which stretches over nearly 3 km (Par 36). To create the conditions for an 18-hole course, the site offers 18 tee times.
Beginners can have fun hitting the small round ball in the different training areas: driving range, putting green, approach areas...

Imagined in 1977 by the famous French champion Jean Garaïalde, the La Roche-Posay golf course displays a pretty 18-hole course (Par 72) in the heart of a wooded universe between pines and oaks, very pleasant in summer. It is appreciated by a large majority of players because it is quite technical without real difficulties and rather flat.

Spread over 92 hectares, the relatively flat 18-hole course is part of a linden wooded environment, maples, charmes, sequoias, himalayan pine ou American red oaks, which, depending on the season, immerses you in totally different atmospheres. These trees participate in the game of golf by creating landmarks, obstacles, screens...
With the takeover of the management of the golf course by the current owners, many developments have been made such as the creation of a waterfall at the level of the last hole which has been moved (the course is now done in Par 73) and efforts have been brought to the interview. The configuration of the course in the shape of a clover makes it very easy to opt for 9 or 4 holes according to its shape and its desires.
Golf Loudun-Fontevraud, golf but not only…
Renovated in 2015, this 18-hole golf course, in the very north of the department, is not considered by practitioners to be particularly difficult, with its wide fairways, but rather long because golfers must travel nearly 7 km to reach the end. Which, however, is not to displease them because located in the heart of the 120 hectares of Domaine de Roiffe, the route winds through a bucolic environment along the Fontevraud forest with llamas, sheep and alpacas as spectators.
As part of a Resort, the Domaine invites you to diversify the pleasures. The golf day can continue with a spa, hammam, jacuzzi or a splash in the outdoor pool. And why not a horseback ride ? The site also has an equestrian center.
On the convivial side, go to the restaurant the Alcove or microbrewery, MicroWinery, to taste beers produced on site.
