The Grand Atelier Express

Last call, immediate boarding!

This morning I took my children to the Grand Workshop à Chatellerault to test a very special activity: we will go back in time ! For this, the museum has reserved special places for us in its Express Châtellerault-Paris. Ahead, the start is given and take us relive the period from the 1890s to the 1970s. We are not at the end of our surprises: the captain tells us that during our journey several tests will be placed on our route.

So nobody stays on the quay and we are immediately put in the mood by playing the stars at the Black Cat Cabaret, great Parisian cabaret of the time.

We must animate statuettes like Chinese shadows to move on to the next test and replay a classic on the piano. Luckily, my little budding artists are taking up this first challenge with flying colors!

With all these stops, our head is spinning! But we do not lose the North for all that! And it is with always the same concentration that we solve the puzzles, let's pass the skill courses and go back little by little to our time. What adventures together!

The stops follow one another and are not alike ! They make us discover all the spaces of the museum. From artists we go to mechanics, designers or even manuchiers! And if you don't know what it is, don't worry, we also didn't know it before doing the related puzzles!

We learned a lot about the past with this activity and I think that we will send our relatives to do it too. A great time for all four to relearn how to trust each other, to laugh and quite simply to live!
