Meeting local wildlife
In the heart of the forest, a hundred deer, all females, live in semi-freedom on the 260 hectares. Their omnipresence around the cottages means that we almost forget that they are wild animals! This is what the keeper in charge of the feeding workshop reminds us.
In addition to their lifestyle, we also learn that these graceful brown ladies spotted with white feed on grass or even pellets and that we must avoid giving them bread at the risk of making them sick. We will take note of this for the rest of our stay.

Public chat the suspension bridge in the heart of the Canopy, those are hinds, deer or alternatively boars which we can observe if we know how to be a little discreet. A delicate exercise to say the least with young children who marvel at each glimpsed animal...
So to contemplate the foxes in complete discretion, the park has found the solution. Behind tinted windows, we are in the front row to watch for these crafty little ones without being seen. Here is one who introduces himself and walks around at ease; we enjoy the show.
Head to the immersive aviary.
It welcomes European birds including former film actors. Alongside a healer, we discover Genepi, this jay appeared in the film “The Seasons” by Jacques Perrin. Among other birds, he enjoys a peaceful retirement.
Silence, we enjoy the great outdoors
On foot, by bike, one thing is certain, to get around the heart of the park, you forget about motorized vehicles and that's so much the better! Our bike ride takes us to the edge of the watercourse which crosses the Bois aux Daims. Not a sound, everything is peaceful and safe for childrenand an feeling of fullness and relaxation settles in, all we have to do is enjoy the present moment, all together in this enchanting setting.

Lagrasse is the perfect setting for lovers of new experiences, like us, tree houses have been built. Y Sleeping is for us a childhood dream that will finally come to life! Closer to the stars, the night promises to be unique...
In a wooden chalet atmosphere, we are under the charm of the place. Decor on the theme of owls, comfort, space, everything is there!
Outside, the terrace with a view overlooking the park takes our breath away. Family happiness exists, and it is surely here.
