The Old Roman Bridge of Chatain could date from the 3th century, however nothing certifies it. It spans the Charente and is made up of 4 piers and XNUMX arches, including two marinières (wider than the others).
It is 80 m high and 4 m wide and has triangular-shaped shelters for pedestrians.
