La Sanguine de Richelieu et autres nouveaux Patients de l'Histoire

Back

December 15, 1866. Sorbonne Chapel, Paris. A delegation from the French Academy gathers for a funeral ceremony to reburial Cardinal Richelieu. A red chalk drawing of Richelieu's embalmed head was made by Emile Duhousset.
It is this drawing, where we clearly recognize his forehead and his fine mustache, which is presented to you from March 30 at the Château
from Monts sur Guesnes.
As part of the partnership between the Château de Monts sur Guesnes – Historial du Poitou, and the
Anthropology, Archeology, Biology Laboratory (LAAB) founded by Philippe Charlier, and
the Monts-sur-Guesnes History Days association, objects will be presented during
the entire 2024 season to visitors.
Inauguration of the exhibition on Saturday March 30 at 19 p.m. at the Château de Monts sur Guesnes
Accessible with the Château de Monts sur Guesnes entrance ticket during reception hours.
