The national forest of Vouillé-Saint-Hilaire (State property) is mainly composed of sessile oaks, pedunculate oaks and beeches. Covering an area of 1539 hectares, it extends over 5 municipalities (Béruges, Quinçay, Montreuil-Bonnin, Vouillé and Vouneuil-sous-Biard) and is managed by the National Forestry Office.
